About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Electrical Designer(MEP Design)to support our engineering team with electrical drafting, design development, and project coordination. This role is ideal for an experienced designer looking for flexible part-time work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience preparing electrical drawings and supporting commercial, schools, or infrastructure-related projects.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and revise electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics.
Assist engineers with design development and construction documentation.
Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, mechanical, and structural disciplines.
Perform field verification and support project site visits as needed.
Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
Maintain organized project files and documentation.
Support multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field.
2+ years of experience in electrical design or drafting preferred.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and/or other design software.
Understanding of electrical systems and construction documentation.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
For New Jersey residents with available own car only.
Fresh Graduates or Engineering students in their last semester with some previous relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
